HILLSDALE, MI – Spring Arbor University senior, Dewayne Gray continues to leave his mark in the SAU record book setting a new mark in the 200 Meter Dash at the Hillsdale Classic on the Ken Herrick Track at Hillsdale College.  Gray clocked a 21.54 in the event finals for a third place finish and the time also qualified Gray for the NAIA National Championships in the event.

The previous Spring Arbor University record of 21.63 was set in 2012 by Kelly Maxwell and Gray's previous best was 21.64 set in the same year.

Gray was already making the trip to the NAIA National Championships in the 100 Meter Dash.  Gray ran a 10.62 earlier this season which qualified him for the Championships.

The NAIA will hold the National Championships in Gulf Shores, AL starting May 22 and run through the 24th.
